“Woman in View of Qur’an” published

Much disputed among non-Muslims, women in view of Qur’an is the theme for the latest book by Iranian author Mohammad Moradi shedding more light on the Islamic attitude on the female members of the community.
“Woman in View of Qur’an” published
“Women in View of Qur’an” is the title for the newest book by Mohammad Moradi based on Al Mizan, book by prominent Islamic thinker, Allameh Mohammad Hussein Tabatabaee, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The book, in 12 sections, focuses on marriage, debauchery, polygamy, children, divorce and also wives of prophet Mohammad (PBUH) as well as exemplary women.
 
The first section of the book refers to the plight of the women in the old days before Islam and reads,” Previously men were permitted to sell, lend or present their wives to anyone they intended to. Men were allowed to punish, kill or leave their wives without basic provisions wither the women survived or they did not. They were allowed to sacrifice their wives during festivities or famine in order to feed on their flesh. They possessed what belonged to their wives even the rights of their wives in a business deal.”
 
The first edition of the book “Woman in View of Qur’an” is published by Iran’s Nashre Hajar Publication.
