Islamic unity is a religious necessity which has been discussed since early years of Islam. In order to safeguard the power of Islam, Muslim leaders have always been harbingers of Islamic solidarity.

Ayatollah Hassan Alemi, member of Iran’s Parliamentary Assembly of Experts in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) referred to the friendly ambiance among Shia and Sunni members of in the Assembly and called that a role model for Islamic unity.
 
He referred to importance of Islamic solidarity and view of the Supreme Leader over that said,” Islamic unity is a religious necessity which has been discussed since early years of Islam.”
 
He hailed the Rashidun caliphs for their pro-unity endeavors and also the solidarity they maintained in a three-decade period before martyrdom of Hazrat Ali (AS), first Shia Imam.
 
Ayatollah Alemi stressed solidarity as a reason which immunes Muslims against disagreements and hostile intrigues and noted,” Enemies have constantly struggled to spark sectarian issues among Muslims in order to prevent them from Jihad (struggle for God Almighty).
 
In order to safeguard the power of Islam, Muslim leaders have always been harbingers of Islamic solidarity.
 
“Enemies are trying to dominate the financial and political capabilities of Muslims” said the cleric warned of intrigues hatched by the UK and Zionist regime based on the principle of division.
 
Member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts praised the friendly ambiance between the Shia and Sunni members of the Assembly of Experts calling that an example of Islamic solidarity.
