Intel. Quds Day designated in solidarity with all oppressed nations

Sunni Friday Prayer Leader in Raz and Jargalan County, Haj Dolat Qari Akhound Nejahi in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) hailed people for supporting defenseless oppressed nations noting, "International Quds day is designated not only in solidarity with Palestinians but with all our brothers and sisters whose blood is shed by arrogants in Yemen, Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq and other Islamic countries."

"International Quds day is the declaration of Muslims' unity in the World of Islam," pointed out Haj Dolat Qari Akhound Nejahi. "Quds day is the day of a nation's resistance against oppression and arrogance."

The religious cleric hailed late Founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini (RA) for designating Quds day in support of Palestinian and all oppressed nations noting, "Defending oppressed nation of Palestine is a religious duty upon all Muslims from all Islamic sects and denominations."

The International Quds Day is a legacy of the late founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini, who designated the day, in 1979, in solidarity with the Palestinians.

Millions of people across the globe have rallied on the International Quds Day to show their solidarity with the Palestinians and condemn Israel’s decades-long occupation and atrocities.

The demonstrators condemned the Tel Avive regime's attempts to Judaize the occupied territories and destroy Palestine’s national and historical identity, calling on international and regional institutions to help foil Israel's dangerous plot by taking firm and practical measures.
