Seyyed Ahmad Zarhani:
Cooperation, convergence, ways towards new Islamic civilization
Deputy of Parliamentary Strategic Affairs at the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought counted cooperation and convergence as important conditions for materializing new Islamic civilizatio.

Seyyed Ahmad Zahani is an Iranian researcher, author, cultural and political activist. A co-founder of Moderation and Development Party has also served as representative of Dezfoul in the first round of Iranian parliament following 1978 Islamic Revolution. At present he chairs SAMA Organization, an affiliate organization of Islamic Azad University.
Seyyed Ahmad Zarhani, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) in the Iranian Northern Province of Golestan referred to necessities of new Islamic civilization expressed regret that multi thousand state organizations and NGOs active in the Islamic countries lead the least relations with each other.
He stressed necessity of creating and boosting ties between political parties, scientific, cultural and economic centers in the world of Islam.
The Parliamentary Deputy at the world forum stressed that the new Islamic civilization appears in cultural, political and economic aspects and noted,” All these aspects have their origins in science and in fact the grounds for materialization of new Islamic civilization is paved through researches, rational analysis and gaining knowledge of Islam.”
He added,” Universities and scientific centers in the Islamic states can invest in student exchange programs and educating experts based on cooperation and convergence among themselves.”
According to Seyyed Ahmad Zarhani proposed launching joint markets for products manufactured in the Islamic countries.
He reiterated importance of settling disagreements between Islamic countries and called for formation of a joint Parliament for among them.
