Amid the critical situation which has challenged different parts of Muslim world, Iranian Sunni cleric has warned of extremist behaviors as an element that may stir solidarity in the world of Islam.

Mamusta Abdul Qader Sohrabi, prayer leader of the Sunni community in Mahabad, Iran’s West Azerbaijan Province, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) criticized heads of Islamic countries for not being in harmony with Muslim nations a fact which has seriously challenged Islamic states.
 
The cleric noted the present confrontations with enemies of Islam and highlighted solidarity as the most important demand for all Muslims.
 
A representative of the Muslim scholars, Mamusta Sohrabi also stressed the role of Muslim clerics in formation of a unified nation demanding effort by every individual religious leader.
 
Prayer leader of Mahabad reiterated mutual respect of the Shia and Sunni Muslims for each other’s sanctities calling that a prerequisite for boosting fraternity and unity among them.
 
He expressed hope that settling the disagreements between different Islamic countries will lead to building true solidarity among Muslims.
