Cleric calls world Muslims, Christians to unite against Trump’s decision

25 Dec 2017 - 15:27

Top Syrian cleric denounced scholars who forgot Palestine calling Muslims and Christians across the globe to unite against Donald trump’s decision on Jerusalem al-Quds.

Sheikh Ahmad Badr-eddin Hassoun, prominent Sunni cleric from Syria, in an interview televised on Al-Mayadeen channel called on Christian world, Pope and the Vatican to take unanimous measure against Donald Trump’s decision on Jerusalem al-Quds, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He rapped those who left their support for Palestine saying,” The reason why some countries did not make the least move against Trump’s al-Quds decision is their failure in Syria war and that they are not taken serious anymore.”

Senior Syrian Mufti added,” Our recommendation for those who have sparked intrigues is to confess to their misdeeds, which begun the crimes in Syria and other countries.”

He quoted Syrian President vowing not to ignore the Islamic and Arabic identity of the country and admit the ideology of those who have misrepresented Islam and Arabism.

Top Syrian Mufti rebuked the US for sparking a new religious conflict across the globe.

Sheikh Ahmad Badr eddin Hassoun also touched upon Yemen war addressing the Persian Gulf Arab states as,” Who are you confronting with the arms bought from the US?”
