National and religious reconciliation: key mission for media
Reza Nasiri, manager of cultural and social affairs in Azad University, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) on the sideline of 23rd Press Exhibition in Tehran stressed the role of media in bringing national solidarity and referred to prominent programs by the academy to commemorate Isalmic Unity Week.
 
He referred to cautioning of the people as the function of the first newspapers which appeared in Iran during Iran’s Constitutional Revolution a mission which has culminated in bringing religious and national agreement.
 
He highlighted the cultural, religious and ethnical diversity of Iran and hailed the solidarity of war veterans from different denominations defending Iran in the same trenches.
 
Reza Nasiri also referred to indiscriminate behavior of Azad University towards students from different ethnical groups and religious minorities and said the academy has planned to hold fraternity camps concurrent with Islamic Unity Week.
