Burnt and partly collapsed, University of Mosul is coming to life following Daesh era. The academy has been cleansed by the students, killing two students, after the city was released from grip of Daesh terrorists. An estimated number of 45’000 students are trying to continue their studies in the partially collapsed buildings.
During the three years of clashes between Daesh and Iraqi government forces, terrorists have looted precious manuscripts, computers and the cash money at university before burning and destroying the buildings. On the verge of total failure, Daesh members planted their bombs in the area, a move which led to killing of two students while cleansing the area of explosives.
